Prices are what we last recorded for each belt. Every button opens that belt on our retail partner's site in a new tab.
Narrower straps, shorter lengths and the same ratchet mechanism as the adult range. A child cannot judge a hole to within an inch, and a belt that only fits on one hole is a belt that gets abandoned.
The point of an adjustable youth belt is that it survives a growth spurt. The strap is cut once and the buckle moves in fractions of an inch after that, which is a year or two of wear rather than a season.

Boys' Belts: what people ask
What size does a child take?
Measure over the trousers he actually wears, not the number on the label. Every belt here carries the waist range it covers, and the range on a ratchet belt is wide by design.
Can he do it himself?
That is the reason to buy one. A click buckle needs one hand and no aim. A pin buckle needs two hands and a hole he can find.
Is a children's belt tested differently?
There is a federal definition of a children's product and a certification that goes with it, and the journal piece on buying a belt for a child quotes it in full. What we can tell you here is the size run and the material.
